Find is a social enterprise of Homeward Trust Edmonton providing essential furnishings free of charge to people who are transitioning out of homelessness, and supplies low-cost, quality furniture and housewares for sale to the public.
FIND hosted their annual donation drive and all month long, we have asked for donations of gently used furniture and household goods to support people transitioning out of homelessness.
Although Housing Month has ended, our efforts to help people create a space to call their homes continue. Find out how you can help by visiting here

The FIND The Find Truck campaign was an initiative to support Housing Month and garner awareness for Find and Housing initiatives in Edmonton.

We had a total of 11 Supportive Housing site visits, which shared an opportunity for people to learn more about supportive housing, site programming & visit common areas.

After a pause during the pandemic, we brought back the National Housing Day Luncheon.
This year, we welcomed Cheryll Case, Founder and Executive Director of CP Planning, as our keynote speaker for this special luncheon. Cheryll leads a non-profit network implementing a human rights-based approach to planning, prioritizing improving access to housing, jobs, and living standards, particularly for marginalized groups. Headquartered in Toronto, CP Planning supports leaders in Cities across Ontario, including Ottawa, Peel, Markham, and Hamilton.
Her keynote focused on how affordable housing contributes to economic resiliency and creates opportunities—not just for individuals, but for communities as a whole. She shared practical insights from her work on how smart planning can lead to more sustainable, inclusive growth.See the presentation here.
